Your programme offer, invoice or enrolment confirmation may contain programme-specific details. Those details form part of your agreement with us.
1. About these terms
Taokudi QA Academy is part of Taokudi AI Consulting. These Terms & Conditions apply to the Taokudi QA Academy website, applications, paid programmes, learning resources, QCC access, mentoring and related Academy services.
By enrolling in or paying for a programme, you agree to these Terms, the Refund & Cancellation Policy and the Privacy Policy, together with any programme-specific enrolment information provided before payment.
Nothing in these Terms removes or limits any mandatory consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
2. Eligibility
Our programmes are primarily designed for adults. If you are under 18, you must contact us before enrolling and we may require consent and involvement from a parent or legal guardian.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide to us is accurate and that you meet any prerequisites clearly stated for your programme.
3. Applications, offers and enrolment
Submitting an application does not guarantee admission. We may review programme fit, cohort capacity and any stated prerequisites before offering a place.
Your place is confirmed only when we issue an enrolment confirmation and any required payment or agreed deposit has been received, unless we confirm another arrangement in writing.
Programme dates, delivery format, included support and access periods will be stated on the relevant programme page, offer, invoice or enrolment confirmation.
4. Fees, currencies and payment
Programme fees are those displayed or quoted to you at the time of enrolment. Where the website displays an indicative converted currency, the Nigerian Naira amount or the transaction amount shown by the payment provider at checkout may be the amount actually charged. Your bank or payment provider may apply its own exchange rate or fees.
If a payment plan is offered, you remain responsible for instalments that have fallen due and for amounts properly payable for services already delivered. An approved cancellation will be handled in accordance with our Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.
We may suspend access for overdue payments after giving reasonable notice, but we will not use this clause to remove mandatory consumer rights.
5. Programme delivery and reasonable changes
We aim to deliver each programme substantially as described. We may make reasonable changes to lesson order, instructors, tools, examples, schedules or supporting materials where this improves delivery, responds to technology changes or is operationally necessary.
If we make a material change that significantly reduces what you purchased, we will offer an appropriate remedy, which may include an alternative session, transfer, credit or refund for the affected part of the service.
You are responsible for having suitable internet access, a compatible computer and any software requirements communicated for the programme.
6. Attendance, recordings and access
Live sessions, labs, clinics and mentoring appointments may have attendance or booking rules. Missing a session does not automatically create a right to a refund where the session was available as scheduled.
Where recordings are offered, access duration may be limited to the period stated for your programme. If a live session is to be recorded and participants may be identifiable, we will provide appropriate notice.
7. Learner conduct and acceptable use
You must use Academy systems, QCC, the LMS, community spaces and learning environments responsibly and lawfully. You must not:
- harass, threaten or discriminate against another learner, instructor or member of staff;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, data or accounts;
- upload malicious code or intentionally disrupt Academy services;
- share another learner’s personal information without permission;
- submit copied work as your own or misrepresent assessment results; or
- use Academy labs or security-related exercises against systems you do not own or have permission to test.
Serious or repeated misconduct may result in removal from a session, suspension or termination of access. Where appropriate, we will give notice and an opportunity to address the issue before termination.
8. Intellectual property and permitted use
Taokudi branding, course materials, templates, videos, QCC content, software, graphics and other Academy materials remain owned by Taokudi or the relevant rights holder.
Enrolled learners receive a personal, limited, non-transferable right to use programme materials for their own learning and portfolio development. You may not sell, republish, upload, distribute, reproduce substantial parts of, or provide paid access to Academy materials without written permission.
You retain ownership of original work you create. By submitting work for assessment or support, you give us permission to review, store and process it for programme delivery. We will seek separate permission before using identifiable learner work publicly for marketing or case studies.
9. Assessments and certificates
Where a programme includes a certificate, completion may depend on stated requirements such as attendance, assignments, projects or assessments. A Taokudi certificate confirms Academy completion; it is not a professional licence, government qualification or guarantee of employment unless expressly stated otherwise.
10. Career support and employment outcomes
Career support may include portfolio feedback, CV/LinkedIn guidance, interview practice, coaching and opportunity-search support. Employment decisions are made by third-party employers and depend on factors outside our control.
We do not guarantee employment, interviews, a particular salary, promotion, contract work or any specific career outcome. Any examples of learner or instructor outcomes are illustrative and do not promise the same result for every learner.
11. Third-party tools and services
Programmes may use third-party products such as development tools, cloud services, video-conferencing platforms, repositories or payment services. Their availability and terms are controlled by their providers. We will take reasonable steps to provide alternatives where a third-party change materially affects programme delivery.
12. Cancellation, transfers and refunds
Our Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how to cancel, request a cohort transfer and request a refund. That policy forms part of these Terms.
If mandatory cancellation or refund rights apply to you under consumer law, those rights take priority over any less favourable term in our policy.
13. Suspension or termination by Taokudi
We may suspend or terminate access for serious non-payment, misuse, unlawful conduct, threats to security, repeated breach of programme rules or other material breach of these Terms. We will act proportionately and, where appropriate, provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy the issue.
14. Service standards and liability
We will provide Academy services with reasonable care and skill. We do not promise that every website, platform or third-party service will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from fraud or any other liability that applicable law requires us to retain.
15. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
16. Complaints, governing law and disputes
If you have a complaint, email hello@taokudi-qaacademy.com. Our Complaints Procedure explains how we acknowledge, investigate, respond to and internally review formal complaints.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, except where mandatory consumer law in your country gives you protections that cannot legally be displaced. Nothing in this clause prevents a consumer from using a regulator, court or dispute process that applicable law entitles them to use.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms for future use. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights already accrued under an existing enrolment. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
